A two-minute film about Tolérance Control, shot at Avène’s thermal spa and production site. Two interviews, the locations and the manufacturing process, filmed in one day.

Two interviews.
One day.

Caroline Siavy meets Avène’s teams at the spa and factory.

Playmaker commissioned me to film and handle post-production for this Avène × ELLE project. The agency was my only point of contact and managed pre-production and interview questions.

The film focused on Tolérance Control and its active ingredient D-Sensinose™, with footage of the thermal spa, production site and thermal spring water bottling process.

Caroline Siavy, head of beauty and fitness at ELLE.fr at the time of filming, interviewed Marie-Ange Martinic and Fanny Corbatto. I handled the technical side of the interviews.

My contribution

Camera, lighting and sound.
Editing, sound mixing and colour grading.

Both interviews and all location footage had to be filmed in one day. The schedule was tight, with several spaces to cover across the thermal spa and production site.

At the thermal spa, glass surfaces and reflections made lighting one interview more difficult. This added a technical constraint to the limited time available for filming.

I then edited, sound-mixed and colour-graded the main film and its short vertical version.
