I am Laurent Henry, an independent videographer and drone pilot. I work directly with companies, brands, venues and event organisers around Annecy, from planning through to the final edit.
Before filming, I define the purpose, practical constraints and shots we need. I then handle ground and drone filming, editing, colour grading and the final formats for your communication channels.

For complex shoots such as factories or major mountain events, scouting helps plan light and logistics. For a straightforward office interview, I arrive early on the filming day to identify the best setup.
What happens if the weather is poor on an outdoor filming day?
The weather around Annecy can change quickly. If light or rain would compromise the film, particularly for drone flights, we reschedule the filming date without an additional rescheduling fee.
Do you work alone or with a crew?
I mainly work independently as a director and camera operator, which keeps the production responsive and the budget controlled. For larger projects, I bring in trusted local specialists such as a sound recordist, second drone pilot or lighting technician.
How do booking and payment work?
Once the quote is approved, a 30% deposit secures the date in my calendar. The balance is invoiced when the final video is delivered.

J'utilise des micros-cravates et des micros canons pour isoler au mieux les voix dans les usines, les bureaux animés et les événements en extérieur.
What are the rules for flying a drone over Lake Annecy?
Drone rules around the lake are strict because of Annecy-Meythet airport, the Bout du Lac nature reserve and built-up areas. As a pilot registered with the French DGAC, I assess these constraints and handle the required permissions.
Do you have the equipment to film sporting events in the mountains?
Yes. Outdoor shoots involving trail running, cycling or sailing around the Aravis or Semnoz require fitness and lightweight, stabilised, weather-resistant equipment. This is one of my main areas of experience.
Do you film in 4K?
Yes. All ground-camera and drone footage is recorded in 4K using flat Log profiles. This allows precise colour grading in post-production and provides footage suitable for long-term use.

The first cut is generally delivered 2 to 3 weeks after filming. The schedule may vary depending on editing complexity and any urgent requirements.
Can you provide short versions for social media?

How many revision rounds are included after the first cut?

Do you keep our footage after final delivery?
I retain the final edit and raw footage on secure drives for one year. After that period, you should keep your own backup of all delivered files.

Can we receive the raw footage after editing?
Raw footage is not normally included by default because colour grading and editing are part of my visual work. If you or your agency have an in-house editing team, raw-footage delivery can be included in the quote.
Can you provide a professional voice-over?
Yes. A professional voice-over can strengthen a corporate film. I work with professional voice artists and can arrange recording in French or English for international audiences.
