A videographer for productions
across Lausanne and the Lake Geneva region

Lausanne has steep streets, fast-changing light over the lake, busy city-centre access, campuses, company headquarters and event venues spread between Ouchy, Flon, Vidy and the surrounding towns. I prepare corporate films, institutional content, interviews and event shoots around these local conditions.

Areas covered

  • Central Lausanne, Ouchy, Flon, Vidy, Renens, Prilly, Pully and Epalinges.
  • Lavaux and the Vaud Riviera: Lutry, Cully, Vevey, Montreux and the terraced vineyards.
  • Morges, Nyon, Yverdon-les-Bains and the rest of the canton of Vaud depending on the project.

Projects suited to the region

Corporate films for SMEs, startups and institutions, employer-branding videos, researcher or executive interviews, event highlights, tourism, hospitality, sport, culture and premium communications around Lake Geneva.

Drone, access and logistics

Lausanne combines urban slopes, residential areas, protected vineyards, rapidly changing lake weather and busy public sites. I check drone feasibility, permissions and ground-based alternatives in advance so the shoot remains practical and compliant.

Planning a shoot in Lausanne?Send me the location, the purpose of the video and your timing constraints. I’ll come back with a practical approach for the canton of Vaud.

I work throughout the canton of Vaud. I regularly film in central Lausanne, including Flon, Ouchy and the EPFL and UNIL campuses, as well as Morges, Vevey, Montreux and northern Vaud.

Can we meet in Lausanne before confirming the project? Yes. A first conversation helps clarify the brief.

Yes. A first conversation is often the best way to understand what you need. I can meet at your office or arrange a meeting in central Lausanne.

What happens if the weather is poor? If rain, fog or wind makes outdoor filming impractical, we agree on another date.

If local weather prevents good outdoor images, particularly for drone filming, we agree on a new filming date without a rescheduling penalty.

Are you used to filming in academic settings such as EPFL or UNIL? Yes. I adapt the setup to laboratories, incubators and lecture halls.

Yes. I adapt the filming setup to research laboratories, startup incubators and lecture halls, with the aim of explaining the work clearly without disrupting the space.

5 questions
What rules apply to drone filming in Lausanne? Feasibility depends on the exact location, airspace and planned shots.

Drone filming above central Lausanne or near Lake Geneva requires careful preparation. I check the exact location, airspace and current requirements, then handle the necessary steps with the relevant Swiss authorities when the flight is feasible.

Do you film in 4K, and what equipment do you use? My productions are filmed in 4K with a compact professional setup.

My productions are filmed in 4K. I mainly use Sony FX3 and A7 IV cameras, professional sound and portable lighting, with a DJI Air 3 available for aerial footage when conditions allow.

Can you record clear voices in noisy environments? Sound is planned carefully, particularly in industrial settings.

Yes. I use professional radio lavaliers and shotgun microphones to keep interviews clear and intelligible, including in workshops and other noisy production spaces.

Can you produce English and French versions? The shoot and edit can be planned for more than one language.

Yes. I can run briefs and interviews in English or French, then deliver bilingual subtitles, separate language edits or additional translated versions in post-production.

Production guarantees

A clear framework before, during and after filming

Every project is prepared within a professional framework: location constraints, safety, usage rights, delivery formats and the schedule are clarified before production begins.

As a professional drone pilot, I check flight zones, local restrictions, weather, required authorisations and ground-based alternatives when flying is not appropriate.

Each shoot is planned with safety in mind: location checks, access, permissions, suitable equipment and professional insurance for work with companies, agencies and venues.

Brief, recce, shot list, filming, editing, colour grading, graphics and exports: each step is structured to remove uncertainty and keep the project moving smoothly.

Delivery formats, editing timelines, included feedback rounds, social media versions and usage rights are set out in the quote, so the intended use of the video is clear from the start.
